  • Show Clipboard Master
    Here you can configure how to open Clipboard Master with the mouse, e.g. by simultaneously pressing two mouse buttons or one mouse button together with a key on the keyboard.

The Mouse in Clipboard Master

  • Left click on list element

    Specify here what action should be executed by a click with the left mouse button:

    • Paste the element
      The element clicked will be pasted into the current application. You can use the right mouse button or cursor up and cursor down to mark in this mode.
    • Mark the element
      The element in the list will be marked. Paste with the Enter key or by double clicking.
  • Right click (outside of Clipboard Master)
    These settings apply when Clipboard Master is displayed and active, that is, the window is not transparent. You can specify here what should happen with right click outside of the Clipboard Master window, e.g. "paste". You can open Clipboard Master with both mouse buttons, select the corresponding entry in the list with the wheel and paste it with the right mouse button. Note: A right click within Clipboard Master always displays the context menu.

  • Center mouse button / wheel button / 3rd / 4th / 5th mouse button
    These settings apply when Clipboard Master is displayed and active, that is, the window is not transparent. Specify the actions that should be executed by pressing the corresponding mouse buttons.

  • Support mouse wheel
    If you deactivate this option, the mouse wheel affect the current application and not Clipboard Master.

  • Deactivate mouse button monitoring
    If you do not need any of the above options or there are problems in certain programs, you can complete deactivate the Clipboard Master mouse functions here.
